Freedom Valley Fence, lead by Joshua Taylor, and his talented and hard-working crew, did a beautiful job with our backyard. The project consists of traditional three rail split fencing, along with six-foot cedar privacy combined with some wire fencing to let more light in the land, and moreover, the work included installation of a gate on an old wood stair connecting our property to our neighbor's (that was a challenge won in terms of aesthetics). Even though we had to delay due to our crazy weather they were always prompt, courteous and always kept on top of communication with us. We needed a fence to enclose our property on a couple sides. We called six fence companies and received quotes by each one. Some were absolutely crazy high and Freedom Valley Fence was somewhere in the middle with the same products. The quality of everything from Freedom Valley though was amazing...just what we wanted. We had to wait quite a while for the installation this summer of Covid, but that was not their fault...they were incredibly backed up as so many folks were getting pools installed during Covid and everyone needed a fence. Freedom Valley Fence actually quoted us the same installation time as the others, so it was a universal wait time! The best part...they gave us an install date and they did it on the date they promised!!! That's huge as you know. Josh came to to the house every day to make sure everyone was on point and his installers were friendly, knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. We actually made a mistake with what we THOUGHT we wanted near one of the gates, so we needed to make a change and he and his crew were very flexible and never complained about the extra time. We, of course, had to pay for the extra material, but it was well worth it and the 6-foot wide gate is perfect. The fence is now the envy of all our neighbors and I'm so glad I went with the New England caps...it's really beautiful.

Freedom Valley Fence did fantastic work on our vinyl fence. Everything was done by hand (every hole with a post hole digger - you guys are beasts!) which preserved the quality of our lawn and left minimal mess. Any time there was a question on preference (direction of gate swing, slope of fence, etc) they made sure to ask us - nothing was assumed ensuring we got exactly what we wanted with no surprises. They even went out of their way to block off gaps between our fence and the neighbors to ensure it was truly a safe space for our pup. After everything was done they stayed behind and wiped down the entire thing front and back - these are true professionals who take pride in their work and I would recommend them to anyone! - Tim P.

The most important thing to our family when hiring a contractor is customer service. Are they going to come back to maintain their product and not charge exorbitant prices? Are they going to show up when they say they will and finish when they say they will? Fences (just like anything else) require maintenance after being installed (especially cedar fences like we have). At some point you are going to need to replace posts/beams/sections. Mother nature ensures it, especially in New England. FVF does just that. Not only do they understand the products they install, they know EXACTLY how to maintain their fences year after year. Most importantly they show up when they say they will and they finish when they say they will. They don't overcharge and they don't have hidden fees like the big boys. The customer service displayed from original installation of our 360 foot, two rail farm fence to now (5 years later) is outstanding. I have had no problems with the fence (other than a frost heave on a rail which FVF gladly replaced) and receive compliments from passer-byes whenever I am working outside in my yard. I have had FVF install light posts (cedar) and I intend to re-hire FVF for all future fence/mailbox/light post jobs as their customer service is unrivaled. I wish all my contractors were like this! - Josh M.

After calling several fencing companies, some who pretend to have a local presence, I was pleasantly surprised to have Josh , the owner , pick up the phone. It was still winter but we had no snow on the ground so he walked the job and gave me a competitive quote. At the start of the job he sent out his foreman Jordan to tie up a few loose ends and installation was scheduled.
Devon and Josh (the hard working one ,not the owner :)  joking) were the install team and these guys crushed it! They had a rocky, uneven , tree root filled site and just plowed through it. I thought I saw Josh (the owner) carry one bag of cement to

help the guys out :).
